Rebecca is a self-taught, self-representing artist who began painting in 2002 as a way to balance the stress of her corporate "day" job. What initially began as a coping mechanism immediately developed into a love for the process of painting.
One of the blessings (and sometimes curses) of Rebecca's "day job" is that it has enabled her to travel all over the world...India, China, Japan, the Philippines, Europe, Africa, Scranton PA... . In addition to influencing her as a person, Rebecca's travels have also had an influence on her art and this can be seen through the bold colors and graphical details that are evident in much of her work.
Though Rebecca is very much active in the corporate world, she has always been an artist at heart. In addition to painting, Rebecca is also a song-writer and guitar-player who has performed at the Florida Theater, the Fly's Tie Irish Pub and on the streets of Amsterdam where she lived from 1999 to 2000.
